About
Carlie Addyson Shaw (she/her) originally hails from a small town in northern Alabama and has been a New York resident for the past 7 years. Carlie initially made the decision to move to the big apple when she was accepted into Molloy University's BFA Program, CAP21. Carlie earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and graduated from the conservatory just three years ago in 2022. Since completing her BFA, Carlie has signed with Kreativ Artists Talent Management and has worked on multiple films and new works of theatre, including making her national tour debut in the new musical Super Freak: The Rick James Story in 2024. She has also had the privilege of working with multiple renowned directors, recording artists, and alumni of her alma mater - some of which include: Kenny Ortega, Stokley Williams (co-founder of the band Mint Condition), and DeQuina Moore.
When she isnt performing, you can find Carlie DIY'ing costumes, making covers in her at-home studio, or spending quality time with her loved ones.
